Star of Honolulu · Aloha Tower, Pier 8
The top tier of the Star of Honolulu: your own table in the Super Nova room on the highest deck, five courses with Maine lobster and USDA Prime tenderloin, and live jazz instead of the Polynesian show. Pick it when the evening is about the two of you.

Nova Five Star happens on the same ship as the buffet and Three Star cruises, on the top deck. The operator seats Nova guests in the Super Nova room on the fourth deck, each party at a private table, and serves five courses: a cheese and charcuterie board at your table, a Nova Scotia Maine lobster and beet carpaccio salad, a fruit sorbet, USDA Prime tenderloin of beef with truffle mashed potato, and the chef's special dessert with brioche. A "Champagne" toast and two super premium drinks are included.
The entertainment is different. There is a pier-side hula and a Bon Voyage hula, soft piano during dinner, then a jazz set by local musicians, and you can dance to it. The Moku Ola Polynesian show is not part of this tier. One reviewer who had sailed both put it plainly: the top deck is "much more refined but not as entertaining".
Expect a 4.6 from 216 reviews and a short list of complaints: watered-down drinks for one guest, souvenir photos sold separately, and weather. Two reviewers in April 2026 and January 2025 report nights when wind or rain kept the ship at the dock. Booking within 5 days of your date? Viator confirms within 48 hours, subject to availability, so book earlier for a birthday or anniversary.
